Manchester City have now reached the FA Cup quarter-finals in each of the last six seasons. They make it 19 FA Cup wins in a row against teams from lower divisions with an aggregate score of 72-10.

Since his debut in the competition in January 2016, no player has been involved in more FA Cup goals (first round onwards) than Kevin De Bruyne (26; 10 goals, 18 assists).

This is just the second ever FA Cup meeting between Manchester City and Plymouth, with the Citizens winning a fifth round tie at Maine Road 3-1 in 1987-88 previously.

Aged 19 years 345 days, Nico Reilly is the youngest player to score a brace for Manchester City in all competitions since Phil Foden (18yrs 264d) against Newport (also in the FA Cup) in February 2019.

Plymouth have now had 44 FA Cup ties against top-flight opponents, progressing from just four of these. However, two of those have come this season with the Pilgrims seeing off Brentford in the third round and Liverpool in the fourth.

Manchester City have won 15 consecutive home games in the FA Cup since a fourth-round defeat (0-2) to Middlesbrough in January 2015, their longest ever run in the competition and the longest winning home run since Liverpool in January 1955 (16 games).
