In their second game of the 2025 Leagues Cup, Inter Miami CF will play Liga MX team Necaxa on Saturday night, marking their return to competition.

Even though second-seeded Miami defeated Atlas 2-1 in their first game, they would be in a far better position to move on in the tournament if they won a second game. After three games against Mexican opponents, Miami hopes to finish among the top four of 18 MLS teams, in contrast to previous Leagues Cup eras that had group stages.
