Excluding replays, this was Chelsea’s first home draw in the FA Cup since February 2012 against Birmingham, ending their run of 22 matches at Stamford Bridge (excl. replays) without a stalemate in the competition (W20 L2).

After none of their first 57 games under Unai Emery in all competitions finished goalless, both of Aston Villa’s last two have been 0-0 draws (v Everton & Chelsea). It’s the first time they have had back-to-back 0-0 draws in all competitions since September 2017 (v Brentford & Middlesbrough).
