After spending their second summer in a row touring the United States, Arsenal will finish their preseason on home soil.
Mikel Arteta hasn’t had it easy thus far, and the Gunners’ Premier League opener against Nottingham Forest is less than two weeks away. This is due to three new recruits and greater squad depth.
Arsenal’s final match of the tour was a convincing 5-3 win against Barcelona in Los Angeles. On Thursday, they play AS Monaco of Ligue 1 in the Emirates Cup. The preseason event has changed from being a multi-team competition to a one-off match.
