The Ballon d’Or is an annual football award presented by French news magazine France Football that is one of the oldest and generally regarded as the most prestigious individual award for football players.
The edition of this year’s has seen some of our club’s players as the nominees.

There are currently no talks between Bayern and Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi regarding a contract extension. The club wants to wait & see whether they have a realistic chance for Haaland. If not, negotiations with Lewandowski will take place.
Timo Werner’s name was discussed at Säbener Straße when Nagelsmann first joined, however things didn’t get concrete as the team was well equipped offensively. If Lewandowski doesn’t extend, and a deal for Haaland is impossible, Werner could become a serious option
Timo Werner on being represented by the same agent as Nagelsmann and several Bayern players: “I didn’t choose Volker Struth because he has some players and the coach in Munich. I did it to get a new perspective on my career. That wasn’t a hint for or against Bayern”
The tendency with Niklas Süle is ‘very clearly’ leaning towards a departure at the moment. There’s little movement in contract talks. Club bosses are unconvinced of a long term renewal. Süle has inquiries from the Premier League
Julian Nagelsmann and the club regarding his current situation. The Spaniard is unhappy with his non-existent game time. If the situation stays as it is, a departure is likely.
Süle: “I’ll try to remain fully fit and play well when I get the coach’s trust. What happens afterwards in the next few weeks or months is completely open”
Süle: “I know what I have at the club. But I also know that such decisions are always about trust. Trust from me to the club, but especially vice versa”
Serge Gnabry’s contract extension is expected to be announced in the coming days/weeks. Talks in the final stages. The player will definitely extend long term and will earn €13-15m per year before taxes.
Bayern held talks with Karim Adeyemi’s agent. The player’s entourage assume that he will leave Salzburg in the summer and that his destination could be decided as early as January. Adeyemi would cost €30-35m.
Bayern are not considering sending Tanguy Nianzou out on loan in January. Although regular game time would be good for his development, Nianzou is needed in case of an injury to one of the starting defenders. The Frenchman will have to stay and wait for his chance.

During the final training today, Marco Reus was in the ‘A’ team instead of Thomas Müller and could therefore start tomorrow. Neuer, Süle, Rüdiger, Kimmich, Goretzka, Gnabry, Sané and Werner also were in the A team.
Not talked about enough the fact that Alphonso Davies is carrying Canada right a World Cup spot with 4 goals and 7 assists in 9 games. Alphonso Davies played 90 minutes and made an assist in Canada’s 1-1 draw against Mexico.
